Guess what? IT IS AUDITION TIME AGAIN!

Counterpoint will be holding auditions the first weekend back from Winter Break.
Audition Dates/Times/Locations are as follows:

Friday, January 20th @ HAVERFORD (location TBA)
6:30-9:30pm

Saturday, January 21st @ BRYN MAWR (Goodheart Classroom A)
6:30-9:30pm

Ladies from all classes–NOT JUST FRESHMEN– from Bryn Mawr and Haverford can attend. All you need to audition is to come with a verse and a chorus of a song prepared that you feel best shows of your vocal talent! Sign-up sheets for audition spots will be posted in each campus’ respective campus center and dining hall(s).  However, if you decide last minute that you want to audition, we love our walk-in auditionees just as much!

Furthermore, we will be singing on Thursday, January 19th @8:30pm (Bryn Mawr Campus Center) in the Welcome Back Concert hosted by the Bryn Mawr Night Owls! There will be a lot of other groups there (though, if I may add, none as cool as us), we hope you will come to cheer us on and hopefully talk with us afterwards so we can answer any questions you may have about the group, the audition process, or anything about the bi-co a cappella scene!

Hello Everyone!

This semester has been PACKED with performances for Counterpoint.  We had an extremely successful Halloween concert, in addition to being invited to sing with Mixed Company of Swarthmore College.

However, our semester is not over yet!

Saturday, Nov. 19th @ 7pm we will be singing with the Drexel TrebleTones at the PhilAcappella benefit concert at Drexel.  Tickets are $5 and all procedes go to organizations that support arts programs in schools.

Last but not least, we have our WINTER CONCERT!!

Friday, Dec. 9th @ 8:30pm — Goodheart Music Room at Bryn Mawr
You’ll hear some of our repertoire we’ve been singing this semester, some new things we’ve been working on, and, of course, our seasonal song, “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and a Sing-A-Long!  It is sure to be a wonderful way to kick-start the holiday season and take a break from studying!

Hello Everyone!

Counterpoint’s first official concert of 2011-2012 is going to be:
October 21st @ 8:00pm
Stokes Auditorium at Haverford College

Because Halloween will be right around the corner, we’ll be in costume, and we encourage all of our audience to come in costume as well!  Candy will be provided for everyone, of course! Join Counterpoint after the concert at the Appartments for our after-party!
